متن کاملDysaster cajamarcensis, a new shrubby genus and species of Astereae (Asteraceae) from Peru
Dysaster cajamarcensis is a spreading broad-leaved shrub named as a new genus and species of the tribe Astereae subtribe Hinterhuberinae collected in northern Peru. متن کاملcalcium oxalate crystals in Conyza canadensis (l.) cronq. and Conyza bonariensis (l.) cronq. (Asteraceae: Astereae)
Calcium oxalate crystals (CaOx) are found in most organs and tissues of many plant species. In this study the morphology and distribution of CaOx crystals in Conyza canadensis (L.) Cronq. and Conyza bonariensis (L.) Cronq. belonging to Asteraceae were investigated. CaOx crystals display a similar distribution in organs and tissues of C. canadensis and C. bonariensis. For the identification of C...
متن کاملGenetics of adaptive radiation in Hawaiian and Cook Islands species of Tetramolopium (Asteraceae; Astereae). I. Nuclear RFLP marker diversity.
Thirty-three nuclear RFLP (restriction fragment length polymorphism) probes were used to study genetic diversity in Hawaiian and Cook Islands species of Tetramolopium for comparison with previous morphological and isozyme studies and to provide greater resolution of the events associated with adaptive radiation in the genus. Levels of RFLP diversity are greater than those reported for isozymes,...
متن کاملPhylogenetic position of Mediterranean Astereae and character evolution of daisies (Bellis, Asteraceae) inferred from nrDNA ITS sequences.
Phylogenetic analyses of nrITS sequences of Asteraceae revealed that the Bellis group is a natural assemblage comprising all the species of Bellis and Bellium, but not Rhynchospermum. In contrast, we propose to include the genera Bellis, Bellium, and Bellidastrum in the subtribe Bellidinae in the interest of circumscribing natural groups. Our results also suggest an early diversification in the...
